Lindsay's Cycle of Political Ignorance

  1. You're so lovable. This is why I listen ONLY to the oldies station. Those songs have good lessons, and we've been through "tough" times before- we will be ok, and only love/family matters anyway! This cycle is great, though. Keep smiling : )

  2. This is hilarious. What a vicious cycle! What's the duration?

  3. Well, right now I'm moving from "get mad a lot because America is going to hell in a hand basket" to "switch from AM 1200 to KLOVE due to rising blood pressure."

Duration varies, but it usually happens about once a year; sometimes more often during controversial/confrontational political turmoil (example: I think I went through three full cycles during last year's election).

  4. LOL yeah that looks a lot like me. If I listen to the news or visit a certain church-related website about the last days & preparedness I start to worry and stress out way too much. That and all the nasty news, I do not need that in my life. I do try to stay in the loop a little but its getting harder and harder to do that!

  5. I love the visual you have to go with this cycle. I remember back in the day when I was a political science major... things weren't nearly so messy at that time. I'm really glad I switched directions. That blissful bubble of political ignorance is, these days, where I spend much time. And my blood pressure thanks me.
