On our menu:
- Slow-cooked baby back ribs finished on the BBQ
- Steamed asparagus
- Homemade caramelized onion and herb dinner rolls (from this great cookbook
)
- Homemade cream soda
- Long grain and wild rice
- Fresh strawberries and raspberries
Complete with china, goblets, formal tablecloth and place mat settings. It was a scrumptious, sumptuous feast. And, after all, nothing says romance quite like barbecue sauce.
For me: a dozen red roses
For him: a Valentine poem (it's been a long time in coming--he writes me poems every Valentine's day)
For us: Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
